As well as SPArkles' broad range of meetings and interest groups, there are a large number of events organised by the National Federation of Women's Institutes (NFWI) and by the Worcestershire Federation (WFWI).

Worcester Warriors Women's Rugby showcase - Sepsis Awareness Day

Sunday 1st December 2019 at Sixways stadium, doors open 12.00 , tickets £5.00

The WFWI is sponsoring 2 members of the Worcester Warriors Women’s rugby team in order to publicise the WI, and support and inspire a new audience of women.

The family showcase day will include:

  • Schools against sepsis tag rugby festival
  • Worcester Warriors Women vs Bristol Bears Women. Warm up 1.00 pm, kick-off 2.00 pm
  • On-pitch live entertainment
  • Street velodrome - Olympic style pursuit cycling track
  • Fanzone family attractions

The WFWI are serving tea and cakes in the fans zone and with an anticipated crowd of 14,000 people.
